Progressive Grocer Recognizes Abby Fox of Unified Grocers as one of The Top Women in Grocery
Progressive Grocer recognizes Abby Fox, Procurement Strategy Manager at Unified Grocers, a Blue Ridge Analytics customer, for her outstanding achievements in inventory replenishment buying.

Progressive Grocer (PG) magazine released its 8th annual list of the Top Women in Grocery for 2014, and featured Abby Fox, Manager of Procurement Strategy at Unified Grocers as a “Rising Star.” Fox was recognized for leading a significant inventory reduction initiative as well as establishing a KPI-driven replenishment program designed to maximize service and profitability.
Fox, a Blue Ridge Analytics customer and frequent attendee of Blue Ridge demand forecasting and replenishment education events, led Unified Grocers to an aggressive inventory reduction of 11 million dollars while increasing customer service levels.
To achieve her ambitious inventory reduction goals, Fox knew that a more vigorous training, certification and accountability program would push her replenishment buying team to new heights.
“The Blue Chip Program created by Blue Ridge greatly complimented our strategic plan. This was a crucial first step toward moving our team in the right direction,” Fox commented.
